our certification process:
Set up 20 hours of consultation (10 individual, 10 group) with your EMDRIA-approved consultant to review cases, discuss challenges, and receive personalized feedback.
step two - Schedule Your Consultation Hours
Conduct 50 sessions with at least 25 different clients, working through all 8 phases of EMDR therapy.
step three - Complete 50 EMDR Sessions
Complete 12 hours of EMDRIA approved continuing education to meet requirements and stay current with advanced EMDR techniques and trauma treatment.
step four - Attend Continuing Education Courses
After completing the required sessions, consultation hours, and education, gather your documentation and submit your application to EMDRIA for certification!
